Explanation Associate Degree Fulltime

In the full-time AD-study programme, the first semester helps you discover your ideal professional profile and your true ICT talents.
Full-time education utilizes a demand-based teaching method.
During the first semester, you'll have guidance from a semester coach, and together, you'll decide on your next educational path.
AD-students follow the same curriculum as bachelor students during the initial semester.
After successfully completing the first semester, you have the option to switch to the bachelor's degree program.

Professional Profile Selection

In the first semester, you choose one of five professional profiles:

  • ICT & Business
  • ICT & Infrastructure
  • ICT & Media Design
  • ICT & Software
  • ICT & Technology

In the selected professional profile, you will complete two thematic master semesters.
During these two semesters, you'll deeply explore the chosen professional profile.
You will also explore various job profiles within the selected professional profile.
Ultimately, you will select the job profile that aligns best with your talents and interests.

In the chosen job profile, you will graduate in semester 4.
The graduation semester comprises both a theoretical and a practical component.
The theoretical part equips you with the necessary knowledge for working within the selected job profile.
In this job profile, you will undertake a practical assignment at a company.
The practical assignment concludes with a thesis/portfolio and a graduation session where you present and defend the work you've completed.

Advancement to the bachelor's degree programme

FHICT offers you the possibility to enter the programme of the adjoining bachelor.
When you enter in semester 4 from the AD course you'll receive extra attention and guidance for the professional skills of the bachelor.
At the end of semester 4, you'll demonstrate that you have achieved the Bachelor professional skills at the appropriate level.
